An old story from India for you and your children.

Long ago, there lived a merchant. Business was very bad that year, self-doubt started to creep in.

In his quest for fresh perspective, he summoned his three children. He gave them each a silver coin and told them to
buy something that will fill the warehouse room.

The eldest son filled the room with hay stacks, he overpaid and still not enough to fill the room.

The second son filled the room with sand, it was unusable and still not enough.

The youngest daughter gave him back the silver coin. The merchant was disappointed, was trudging away.

The daughter said, "Dad - I have filled the room with what I already had. There was no need to use your silver coin, open the door and see it for yourself".

The merchant opened the door - The room was filled with bright light. There was old Indian brass lamp in the middle of the room.

That spark of creativity changed his mindset and brightened his hopes for the new year.

2021 will be a lot brighter for all with little bit of creativity.
